New Shield is the latest technology in short chain fluorochemicals and the latest generation of dye blocking with acid dye resistors. New Shield provides superior performance in stain resistance to many long-chain fluorochemical protectors on the market. This protector will provide water and oil based resistance as well as giving superior stain prevention. New Shield covers up to 5,600 square feet per concentrated gallon depending on carpet pile and density.
For low pressure pump/electric sprayer use: Dilute 32 oz. per gallon. Depending on carpet pile and density, apply evenly or entire carpet with a #8004 jet nozzle, at 35 - 45 psi and at 400 - 800 sq. ft. per gallon RTU. Make sure the spraying overlaps. Rake or brush to fully incorporate into the carpet. Clean equipment with fresh water after every use to avoid clogging and build up.
For truck mounted injection sprayers: Add product full strength to 5 quart container, set dilution meter to 1:4, set truck mount pressure to 300 psi and apply evenly to entire carpet area. Make sure to overlap. Rake or brush to fully incorporate into the carpet. Clean equipment with fresh water after every use to avoid clogging and build up.
